About Me

Hello, my name is Lisa Marie Dixon.  I am currently researching the genealogy of my family. I have been a member of Ancestry.ca since August 1, 2011.  I have been blogging about my family genealogy since August 13, 2013, which is when I created the Dixon Family Genealogy Blog. I also have a family tree on MyHeritage.com and FamilySearch.org My family tree on Ancestry is the main family tree I work on, I just added a GEDCOM of my family tree on MyHeritage.com and FamilySearch.org 

How did I get into genealogy? Well I got into genealogy because I am a scrapbooker and have been scrapbooking since around 2005. While scrapbooking old family photos I became interested in learning more about my family history. I also have a scrapbooking blog called Lisa's Creative Crafty Corner.

I have a YouTube Channel called lisamdixon2002 where I post videos on genealogy, scrapbooking, cosplay videos, videos of my dogs, conventions and much more. 

I have had my DNA test by both 23andMe.com and Ancestry.com which I have blogged about my Ancestry DNA results of both DNA tests.
