I found my great-grandfather Frederick Dalton Marshall in the 1911 Census Of Canada.

Here is the information I learned from the census:

Fred's Origin - Irish
Fred's Nationality - Canadian
Fred's Occupation - Labour - Railway
Religion - Anglican

Found William L Dixon in the 1910 United States Federal Census

I found my great grandfather William L. Dixon in the 1910 United States Federal Census.

I learned the following from the census:
William is 16 years old.
His brother Ira is no longer living in the same house with him.
William is listed as boarder to the head of the household.
His occupation is a labour doing old jobs.

Newspaper Clipping Of Linda Marie Dagenais & John Marshall Dixon Sr's Wedding

Here is a newspaper clipping of my parents' (Linda Marie Dagenais & John Marshall Dixon Sr.) wedding, they were married on August 10, 1974. I found this in with old photos. I am not sure of what newspaper this was published in or the date it was published.

Transcription of text in the document:      MRS. AND MRS. JOHN DIXON who were married in St. Denis Roman Catholic Church. The bride, the former Linda Dagenais, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Dagenais and her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Dixon.

Ancestry DNA Update

I just received 2 emails from Ancestry.ca both my Dad's & mine DNA test are now is in the lab processing. So in 6 to 8 weeks I should have our DNA results. I am very excited for our DNA results.

Transcription of text in the document:     Showers were held for Miss Linda Dagenais, prior to her marriage Saturday to John Marshall Dixon, by Miss Jane Dixon and by Mrs. Nancy Couttes and Miss Corrine Dagenais.    A party after the rehearsal for the wedding was held by the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Dixon.
