Newspaper Clipping of Jean Gerturde (Marshall) Dixon
Here is a newspaper clipping of my Grandmother Jean Gertrude (Marshall) Dixon, my Dad's (John Marshall Dixon Sr.) mother using an old spinning wheel. I found this in with old photos. I am not sure of the date this of this or what newspaper this was published in.
Transcription of text in the document: This old spinning wheel had been in the Fry family for more than 100 years. Examining it are Mrs. Doanld Segewick and Mrs. Edward Dixon, both of St. Catharines. The old beds and cradles also created great interest among visitors who thronged into every room.
